Trigger from Idolish7 Releases 3rd Album Trois

By Josh PiedraMarch 21, 2025

TRIGGER, the group from Idolish7, has released their third original album, Trois. Based on the grand concept of Lueur des Trois (“The Light of Three”), the album is structured as a grand ensemble divided into three movements: Origine, Passion, and Scène. Each section opens with “Prelude: Lueur des Trois,” while the individual tracks tell the story of TRIGGER’s origin, passion, and journey to the stage. Listeners are invited to immerse themselves in the symphonic poem of Lueur des Trois.

Trois

Among the standout tracks are “Triple Down,” an emotional and progressive dance music piece produced by Ryo Takahashi, with rhythmic and seductive lyrics by multi-artist R・O・N., as well as “Sol,” an innovative electronic track composed by Taiki Kudo from the dance vocal group Da-iCE.

The special limited edition includes a bonus CD featuring the unaccompanied violin suite “Suites pour violon seul ‘Trois,’” which weaves together themes from the three movements, along with a self-remix of the lead track “Triple Down -VC’s ‘Hermetic Art’ UKG Remix-.” This edition also includes an original acrylic stand featuring a newly drawn illustration by manga artist Arina Tanemura.

You can check out a teaser trailer below:
