You might not realize it, but today is the five-year anniversary of the first season of The Umbrella Academy. It was released on February 15th, 2019, and Netflix finally got a superhero series to call its own that they could build off of in the best way. Across the first three seasons, we’ve seen the Hargreeves family save the world (after nearly destroying it) three times, and now, their futures are even MORE uncertain as a “new world” looms before them. Today, Netflix dropped a set of nine posters for The Umbrella Academy Season 4 and revealed that the final season would arrive on August 8th!
Longtime fans will recognize the “difference” between each side of the character posters. If you want a closer look, they’re on the official Twitter handle for the franchise. On the left, we see the majority of the cast, mainly the Hargreeves, in their “School Uniforms” to symbolize who they were at the start. But on the right side, we see them as they are in Season 4.

It’ll be interesting to see what is revealed in the first trailer for The Umbrella Academy Season 4. Remember, it’s only six episodes long, so they have plenty to do to wrap things up. We’ll find out in August how it all goes!
