It feels like a lifetime ago that the Splatoon 3 Side Order DLC was announced during the first 2023 Nintendo Direct. Yes, I know it’s been less than a year, but it’s the principal of the thing! Anyway, Nintendo kept really tight-lipped about this DLC and only revealed certain details during certain events. One such event was supposed to happen in Japan today, but it got canceled. So, Nintendo believed it best to have their friends at Squid Research Labs drop the official release date for the upcoming story DLC. The good news? It’s coming next month!
As you can see in the tweet below, the DLC content will arrive on February 22nd and will take you to the “World of Order,” where you must help save Marina! The content will have replayability options out of the wazoo, and the visuals will certainly make the game feel like something fresh.
