Palworld is an indie title that allows players to catch what are called Pals, which some people have pointed out to be very similar to the Pokemon franchise. Something that the games have in common is that they both require ball-like capture devices to catch the furry little creatures that can be used in battle. This guide will explain everything you need to know about catching Pals in Palworld.
How To Catch A Pal
When you first start Palworld, you will go through a tutorial on everything that you will need to learn in order to do the basics of the game. One of the first things you will learn is how to catch a Pal. However, this might not be easy at first; I know it wasn’t for me.
Pokeballs are little circular balls that Pokemon can be stored in, basically as their own little homes. In Palworld, players will see a similarity between Pokeballs and what are called Pal Spheres. A Pal Sphere is a ball that grows blue that is craftable within the game and can then be used to throw at a Pal and catch them to become a member of your battling team or a worker on your base.
The easiest way to catch a Pal is by weakening it and then throwing one of the Pal Spheres at it. With the Pal being weakened, this will make the chances of it being caught a bit higher than throwing a Sphere at a completely full-health Pal. Once a Sphere is thrown at one, a meter will pop up on the screen and it will show how close the Pal is to being captured. After a Pal has been caught, it will appear in your inventory, and you can then decide what you will do with it from there. Check out our guide on how to craft each Pal Sphere here.
