It wasn’t that long ago that the new Dragon Ball anime called Dragon Ball Daima was announced by Akira Toriyama during New York Comic-Con 2023. Ever since then, I’ve been waiting for it to be shown eventually. However, seeing how that won’t be until Fall 2024, I’ll have to settle for any information I can get.
Speaking of which, a brand new trailer that showcases the younger version of Goku/Son Goku, has been released, and it gives a decent indication of what we can expect in the new show. Here we see Goku, along with the return of his beloved Power Pole, doing some traditional martial arts, not the over-the-top fighting we’ve seen in Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, and, yes, Dragon Ball GT.
Seeing how this trailer is all about Goku, I hope this trend continues, and the new trailer will be about Vegeta. Vegeta is my favorite of the two, and finally, seeing him bite-sized will be interesting.
Dragon Ball Daima will be shown this Fall 2024. However, we still don’t know the entire story about the show as of yet. Come on, Akira Toriyama, don’t keep us (me) waiting.
