K-pop giant Monsta X has launched a new fan community, aiming to boost interactions with its followers worldwide.
According to Kakao Entertainment, Monsta X has opened its official community on Berriz, Kakao Entertainment’s global fan platform, to create a new space for its fans to gather. The launch also signifies the return of Monsta X as a full group, with member Hyungwon coming back to civilian life in May after completing his mandatory military service. Given that 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of its debut, Monsta X plans to amplify fan interactions on Berriz and build precious memories with their followers.
The group’s fan community will provide a space where users can communicate without barriers, along with a variety of eye-catching content including music videos, dance practice clips, and real-time live streams from the members. On Berriz, fans will be able to view the individual profiles of each member ― Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M ― all of whom boast different personalities. Berriz-exclusive photos, such as childhood pictures and selfies of the members, will also be available, further enriching the user experience.
Monsta X greeted its fans on Berriz immediately after launching its fan community on April 28, sharing a heartfelt hand-written message to welcome them. Kihyun and Minhyuk, in particular, have already uploaded posts to connect with their followers across the globe, sparking an online frenzy. Fans are reacting enthusiastically to Monsta X with witty comments such as “I can unpack here, right?” and “Move-in complete. Now, I’ll get back to work. Let’s make a lot of great memories together.”
Debuting in 2015, Monsta X is a six-piece act renowned for its flawless live performances and music production skills. Thanks to mega-hits like “GAMBLER” “Love Killa,” “Shoot Out,” and “DRAMARAMA,” it has carved out its own niche as an irreplaceable force in K-pop, known for its powerful concepts and high-level artistry. Notably, Monsta X has found success on multiple music charts both at home and abroad, including Billboard, while attracting large audiences through its world tours.
“We expect Monsta X and its global fandom MONBEBE to create special moments on Berriz and build stronger connections,” Kakao Entertainment said. “High-profile ballad singer Jung Seung-hwan and the Gen-Z girl group KiiiKiii joined Berriz earlier and have been actively interacting with their followers through live streaming and other content. On the community for the webtoon-turned-drama “Crushology 101,” users can converse with the AI personas of the main characters and immerse themselves in the fictional world of this drama. In addition to Monsta X, Berriz is preparing to launch more fan communities for diverse intellectual properties (IPs), seeking to establish Berriz as a global K-culture fan platform.”
Shortly after Monsta X, the globally praised singer-actor IU will also start a new fan community on Berriz. Known for her deep love for fans, IU is set to engage closely with her followers and build genuine rapport through the platform.
Berriz is currently available on the web and mobile (Android, iOS), offering the service in 18 languages including English and Korean for global fans.
