Today, Hikaru Utada unveiled the cover art for their upcoming single ‘Naniirodemonai Hana(A Flower of No Color)’ – the theme song for Japanese broadcaster Fuji TV’s new series The Gift of Your Heart (Kimi ga Kokoro wo Kureta kara). The dazzling artwork was captured in Obihiro, Hokkaido in January 2024, by photographer Takey, who also photographed the art for their latest album BAD MODE in 2022 and single ‘Gold -Mata Au Hi Made-’ last summer.
Ahead of its release, a special campaign has started for fans to win an exclusive gift. Fans can visit the dedicated campaign website (https://cp.digle.tokyo/naniirodemonaihana) and enroll in the campaign by pre-add on Apple Music, pre-save on Spotify or pre-order on iTunes*. After that, 300 randomly selected will win a special “A Flower of No Color” sticker. Every applicant will receive an exclusive digital wallpaper. The campaign can be joined from anywhere in the world, and the application period ends on 11 February 2024 at 23:59 Japan Time. *The iTunes campaign will be launched from 7 February 2024.
Additionally, the application period for HIKARU UTADA SCIENCE FICTION TOUR 2024 has started today and will end on 29 February 2024, 11:59 pm (Japan Time). Residents in Japan can apply for tickets through the official app, ‘Hikaru Utada Tour Official,’ available exclusively in Japan. The app can be downloaded from the official tour website. Overseas applicants can access the ticket application via the official tour website (https://live.hikaruutada-tour-official.com/en) and follow the provided instructions.
Furthermore, an exclusive application period for album purchasers using a unique serial number, including both premium and regular tickets, will open on 9 April 2024, 0:00 am and will close on 30 April 2024, 11:59 pm (Japan Time).
