Now that Forza Motorsport is out for the Xbox Series X|S and PC (Windows Store/PC), we’ve taken several of our favorite cars and taken them for a drive around several iconic tracks that include Maple Valley, Grand Oak Raceway, and Silverstone Racing Circuit, at night and during the rain. And it looks fantastic and it’s not washed out.
The gameplay was recorded with the Forza Motorsport PC version and played on a PC equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700x, Nvidia RTX 4090, and Windows 11 with 32GB of DDR5 memory. Performance-wise, while the PC is a bit of an overkill for the game, we haven’t experienced any issues with playing the game with or without Ray Tracing, and the framerate was a smooth 60FPS with maxed settings and Nvidia’s DLAA enabled.
Check out our Forza Motorsport review, discussing the pros and cons. Overall, we felt that the game is a viable next-generation racer, with a few concerns that don’t detract from the racing experience.
Forza Motorsport is currently available for the Xbox Series X|S and PC if you purchased the premium edition or on October 10, 2023.
