As is customary for Microsoft when announcing what’s coming to Xbox Game Pass, it’s split into two parts. Considering they had a major release just a few days ago in Avowed, it makes sense why the games list is relatively short. But at least two of those titles are available today in EA’s F1 24 and Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader.
Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader is an isometric RPG from Owlcat games released on December 7, 2023. The game is touted as the “first CRPG in the Warhammer Universe.” The player’s journey reaches across far distances and sees you joined by several companions. There’s also dialogue choices, planets to find and your own spaceship as well. Combat is of the turn-based strategy variety with cover playing an important factor in protecting your allies from certain death. For those looking for more in the Warhammer 40K universe after playing Space Marine 2, perhaps Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader scratches that itch and best of all you can play it on Cloud, Console or PC.
F1 24 continues the tradition of F1 Games coming to Xbox Game Pass after EA’s purchase of Codemasters a few years ago. This year’s version may be the most viable for casual racing fans as the improvement to the physics and the way the cars drive is more approachable than in year’s past. The focus on more of a career mode instead of a story mode is also an enhancement in this year’s version that may make it worth checking out. Since this is coming via EA Play, it is only available to those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscriptions.
Coming on February 25, if you always wanted to try out Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs Legion, you can now do so when it comes to Cloud, Console and PC very soon.
Also, as is customary, there are titles leaving Xbox Game Pass at the end of the month. Here’s what’s leaving the service as of February 28:
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty
F1 22
Warhammer 40,000 Boltgun
Gris
PAW Patrol World
Space Engineers
Maneater
Yakuza 3 Remastered
Yakuza 4 Remastered
