The Triple-i Initiative 2025 showcase wrapped up earlier today and had a ton of games that gamers can look forward to. In under an hour, 36 different indie games and indie game announcements were shown. That is a lot to unpack and look for, so we took the effort to show all of it here for you to see what attracts the gaze for you.
Katana ZERO – DLC still coming, still free
This isn’t a Chronos hallucination – the free Katana ZERO DLC is finally nearing completion.

Frostrail – World Premiere, coming to Steam Early Access 2026
Shiro Unlimited (Northgard, Wartales, Dune: Spice Wars, Ale Abbey) partners with developer FakeFish (Barotrauma) for Frostrail, the first-person shooter, open-world survival crafting game arriving on Steam Early Access for Windows PC in 2026.
Endure a desolate post-apocalyptic world with arctic temperatures, unspeakable horrors, and one life-sustaining locomotive powered by the impressive Eden Engine. Scavenge underground dungeons and crumbling ruins across the tundra while braving forces both natural and unnatural, slaying horrifying abominations known as Revenants in intense FPS battles.
Collect vital resources, but stray from the train for too long and risk succumbing to the icy environment and its cursed inhabitants. The train is not just transportation, it is a home base, a moving fortress, and the one thing standing between you and a cold death. Only the lucky souls get to continue the treacherous journey.
Craft essential parts to upgrade the convoy and create new tools, weapons, and equipment. Band together with other survivors in 4-person online co-op for a greater chance against the harsh landscapes, ravenous opponents, and towering bosses.
The Alters – Coming June 13th 2025
