Shadowloo’s 2nd puglist has returned to the ring. This time, in his own trailer. Ed is coming to Street Fighter 6. One of the most intriguing things was the very poster that Capcom used. This was leaked a few months back with many people doubting it to be the official look of the character. The oversized hoodie is still here with Ed as he thwarts more Mad Gear lackeys.
With several crosses, jabs, and psycho power, Ed is has got some quickness to him. His anti-projectile moves and psycho-power strings of his Psycho Snatcher are back in his moveset. Ed has taken the boxer mantle solely in Street Fighter 6 as of now. Dudley and Mike… err Balrog usually came into their previous games as the premiere puglists with the second man coming in. Ed’s moveset was usually with single or double button inputs with not too many real directional movemet in his debut. How this will be represented by both styles of Modern or Classic is definitely something to be curious about.
Ed has set up shop in an old Shadowloo facility called The Ruined Lab. The infamous Shadowloo skeleton motif is within the top of the rubble. As we already know, the events of A Shadow Falls story in Street Fighter V left these bases in ruin, causing many members to go their separate ways either remaining at large or dying within it(Bison?). It looks as though there could be some of Bison’s dolls that have yet to either be activated or destroyed by the joint operation. This also is the first ever Stage DLC for the game.
Ed will be available on February 27th for the current season pass or separate DLC. Street Fighter VI is available now on PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox Series X | S, and Steam.
