Borderlands 4

New information on the hotly anticipated Borderlands 4 is coming soon as Sony unveiled the date and time for the previously announced State of Play for the game. Occurring Wednesday April 30 at the now traditional time frame of 5pm ET/2pm ET/10pm BST/11pm CEST, the PlayStation Blog post, written by Gearbox Creative Director Graeme Timmins, promises a deep dive into its various systems and gameplay elements.

In this upcoming State of Play, strap in with me and Anthony Nicholson, Senior Project Producer, for over 20 minutes of developer-guided gameplay, including missions, killer weapons, exciting Action Skills, new and returning characters, and more.

Although initially shared on social media by Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford, the PS Blog also confirmed the earlier release date for Borderlands 4 of September 12, 2025 and revealed the key art for the game as well.

We don’t have long to wait now for more information on Borderlands 4 and with the earlier release date, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and eventually Nintendo Switch 2 owners will be firing away and looting with friends sooner than before.
