Sony has revealed their livestreaming plans for this year’s upcoming E3. PlayStation Live from E3 2017 will begin Monday, June 12 with the official press conference. In addition to streaming the press conference, fans will be able to watch for three additional days of content. The official PlayStation Live schedule is as follows:
- Monday, June 12 | PlayStation Live From E3 2017 featuring the PlayStation Media Showcase | 5:00 PM Pacific Time
- Tuesday, June 13 | PlayStation Live From E3 2017 programming | 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time
- Wednesday, June 14 | PlayStation Live From E3 2017 programming | 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time
- Thursday, June 15 | PlayStation Live From E3 2017 programming | 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time
The official PlayStation blog writes the additional 16 hours of content will reveal “new game demos, developer interviews, and new trailers.” The live content will showcase both PS4 and PSVR games, they note.
You can watch the live E3 coverage at live.playstation.com. Here you can complete “quests” to unlock rewards. The site will also grant fans access to new trailers and interviews. In addition, Sony will also be streaming on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook.
Sony has also announced that the PlayStation E3 Experience will return this year, where players can watch the E3 press conference live at their local theater. Theaters across the US, Canada, and South America will participate, but no further details have been given yet. Stay tuned to learn if a theater in your town will participate.
