The wait for the Prey demo is over. If you have a console, you can play the Prey Demo: Opening Hour right now! The demo will let players experience Morgan Yu’s first day on the job aboard Talos I. With an alien invasion occurring, it’s not going to going to be a good day.
Unfortunately PC gamers will have to wait until the the game launches next week to get their hands on it. While PC gamers wait, they can review the system specs for Prey, which were announced on Bethesda’s site today. The original Prey was released in 2006 and with Prey 2 being announced that same year. After years of development , Prey 2 was officially cancelled by Bethesda in 2014. 2 years later, they announced that they would be rebooting the franchise which lead us to the Prey we see today.
Arkane Studios reboot of Prey will be available on May 5, 2017 for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The console release will have a rolling release and unlock at midnight of each territory. PC will unlock at midnight ET.
