So the next Avengers movie is called Avengers 2: Age of Ultron?

By Keith MitchellJuly 20, 2013

So apparently the next Avengers movie will not deal with Thanos as the ending credits of the original Avengers movie would have us all believe and will feature Ultron as the main baddie. Yes, Ultron, that love child, er… creature from Henry Pym, who recently had a 10 issue run which as called….. wait for it… Age of Ultron.

What? So the next movie is called the same thing as a recent comic run and will be feature Ultron, who by the way is perhaps on of Marvel’s main bad guys who hasn’t been given enough billing. Or hasn’t crossed paths with Magneto either apparently. No I’m not kidding you and yes this was officially announced by Joss Whedon himself during the Marvel panel at SDCC 2013.

So looks like we’ll see Thanos sooner than later as he’ll more than likely appear in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
