The Nintendo Switch is less than two days from launch, and thus, Nintendo is releasing more and more news about the console. In this case, they released a video highlighting the Switch’s version of the Nintendo eShop.
First off, you will be able to merge your Nintendo ID accounts from your Wii U and 3DS onto your new Nintendo Account. And, like the Wii U before it, you can download games from the eShop while the console is in Sleep Mode, which is a welcome returning feature.
Also debuting is a News feature, which will keep you up to date on new releases, and behind-the-scenes info on games that’re coming out.
Nintendo promises that the eShop will be constantly be updating, and given all the games they showed in their Nindie Showcase yesterday, it seems like they’re going to be keeping that promise.
Stay tuned for more coverage on the Nintendo Switch as we countdown to launch!
