Many gamers will no doubt recall CI Games attempt at emulating the Dark Souls formula, with Lords of the Fallen. While it had some rough edges, it certainly attempted to redefine the genre that FROMSOFTWARE has perfected. Now, Lords of the Fallen is heading to iOS and Android devices.
You heard me, it’s making it’s way to mobile devices. The biggest change here is that the game will be played via swipe gestures. In addition, the gameplay will focus on 1-on-1 fights but will retain the same adventure/RPG elements found on the PC/Console version. Seeing the game in action reminds me of Epic Games own Infinity Blade series.
That being said, if CI Games can pull it off, it may be a unique experience on the mobile platform.
Lord of the Fallen mobile will feature the following:
- 12 detailed and creepy locations
- 30 monster types and 12 bosses
- 60 weapons, 15 amulets, and 80 nerve-wracking combat encounters
The title will be available on Feb 9th, 2017 and be priced at $9.99 on the Apple Store and Google Play.
