Looks like Xbox’s head honcho, Phil Spencer, is back on twitter sharing some good news. Previously asked by another twitter user regarding if the Xbox would have any good exclusives this year.
Phil responded back with a really positive answer, one that I’m sure more than a few Xbox fans will appreciate.
I feel very good about this year. Should have more 1P games than last year, great diversity + launching new IP. Good year.

Let’s break down the response, shall we? Phil Spencer is acknowledging that the Xbox brand will have more first-party games than in 2016. In addition, they are announcing a new IP. That last bit is great news as Xbox fans have been mildly disappointed with the lack of exclusive titles coming their way.
Now that he’s said that, I can’t stop thinking about what first-party games could he be referring to. We already know about Cuphead and Forza Motorsport 7, and possibly Halo 6, but he said more than 2016. Meaning there’s definitely more going on here than we already know. And what about that first party game? Have they already dropped a hint about it? Will that new IP also make it over to Windows 10 as well?
And lastly, there’s still Scorpio, which everyone is itching to see. Guessing Microsoft and Xbox have some cards to play that we haven’t seen yet. Bring it on, we’re ready!
