Alright all you World of Warcraft fans, Blizzard has updated their plans for Patch 7.1 and has set the release date for October 25, 2016! So first things first, the second raid – Trial of Valor, will not launch in the patch and instead will be released two weeks later. The attunement questline for Karazhan Mythic Dungeon will also be ready to start on, so don’t miss that. And yes, Karazhan is a mythic dungeon only, so you only do heroic’s then you’re going to miss out.
Also added will be several new story quests for the Nightfallen storyline, all of which leads up to the opening of Nighthold – The next raid after Trial of Valor. Don’t expect it, however, until sometime in Q1/Q2 2017. There’s quite a bit of info that I haven’t included as Blizzard hasn’t released the actual patch notes as of yet. We don’t want to mix up PTR stuff with live stuff, do we?
Still, it’s pretty existing to have the release date. I can’t wait to get back into Karazhan. I loved raiding that place back in the day and even though it’s a 5-man now, I have zero doubt that it won’t be as fun as it was back then. Now, if we could only get back the “upside down sinners” section.
