When Telltale Games released Batman – The Telltales Series for the PC, it wasn’t pretty. Gamers started reporting in that the game simply refused to run at a decent level and basically made the game unplayable. For many, it seems that the PC was cursed when it came to running any newer Batman titles (Batman: Arkham Knight).
It was quickly observed that the main issue for this was that the game was defaulting to an integrated GPU, even if you didn’t have one. Thankfully, Telltales has finally addressed this with a new patch. This patch download as soon as you start the game up on Steam.
Patch fixes:
- Automatically defaults the game to run on dedicated graphics card
- Adds graphics settings to enable selection of Higher Performance Textures or Higher Quality Textures (please select Higher Performance if performance is an issue)
If you haven’t fired up your copy of Batman – Telltale Series, the next time you do, the patch will be installed and you’ll be able to enjoy your game. In a related note, be sure that your video drivers are also updated.
