We previously reported on trophies for Playdead’s recent title, Inside, showing up for the PlayStation 4 over at Exophase. Shortly afterward, VG247 had reported that the title was coming to the PS4, thanks to a trusted source. Today, Sony has confirmed that the title will indeed be released on the PS4 as of August 23rd, 2016, via Twitter.

Inside is the spiritual follow-up to Playdead’s previous title, Limbo. Inside is a puzzle platformer, in which the player controls a young boy who explores a surreal environment presented as a primarily monochromatic, 2.5D game, using only splashes of color to highlight parts of the environment.
No news on what differences between the Xbox, PC and PS4, if there are any.
