Now that Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption has been announced for Xbox One backwards compatibility, Digital Foundry has taken the game for a test drive. And they’re reported that while the visuals in the game haven’t changed, the Xbox One runs the game at a solid 30 frames pers second, compared to the original Xbox 360 which experienced dips during certain parts of the game.
This is definitely good news for Red Dead Redemption fans, especially since the title is available as of today and while there have been other games released for Xbox One backwards compatibility, many haven’t faired as well in the frame rate department.
So if you’re wondering just how well the game is running on the Xbox One hardware, take a look at the video below and be sure to leave a comment on the Digital Foundry video.
