Twitch has announced that they rolled out a new feature for anyone who streams using the services. The featured, called “Clips”, will let streamers record up to 30 seconds of footage and share it to various social networks. And yes, this does seem to be very similar to the functionally that can be found on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
To access the feature, all you have to do is click the “clip” button and it will record the previous 25 seconds of footage and the next 5 seconds of footage. The clip will then piggyback to the original stream, regardless if they are on or offline. Currently, the clips feature is being rolled out to partnered channels first and will eventually be available for all Twitch streamers in the upcoming weeks.
