The DOOM train is officially kicking it into high gear, especially since the game is set to release in one more week. Alright, first thing is first. All you PC gamers, which includes me, Bethesda has released the PC system requirements to play DOOM. And surprisingly the requirements are actually pretty tame when it comes to hardware, though the recommended do call for a slightly more powerful GPU.
So if you’re planning on playing it on PC, you better make sure your system aligns with what is below.
Minimum:
- OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions).
- CPU: Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better.
- GPU: 8 GB RAM; 55 GB free HDD space; Nvidia GTX 670 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or better.
- Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam (total amount 45 GB) is required to run the game.
- Requires Steam activation and broadband internet connection for multiplayer and SnapMap.
