Listen up Windows 10 PC gamers! Back in April 2016, Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios dropped a huge bomb and stated that Forza Motorsports would eventually hit the PC. Well, today is the start of that promise with the release of the Forza Motorsport 6: Apex Open Beta. Starting today and throughout the Summer of 2016, PC gamers will be able to experience Microsoft’s premier racing simulator with DirectX 12 and resolutions up to 4K.
The beta is available here. You must be on a Windows 10 computer to download it.
It’s not the full version and instead is a very slimmed down version of Forza Motorsports 6 from the Xbox One, though this the step in the right direction as Turn 10 Studios has stated that the next versions of Forza will see both a Xbox One and PC release. If you do plan on downloading and giving the beta a test run, be sure to leave some feedback on the game at the Apex Forums, Twitter or Facebook. Anything kind of feedback; crashes, errors, performance related issues, anything. The more info you provide, the beta the end product will be when it officially releases.
However, please keep in mind that beta is only open for Windows 10 users. For full system requirements on running the beta, please see below.
