“Careful, this could get out of hand real fast.”
Bethesda has released a trailer for the new Fallout 4 DLC, Far Harbor, along with a May 19 release date for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. This marks the third expansion for Fallout 4 to be released in the last two months. To be honest, Automatron and the Wasteland Workshop didn’t excite me enough to keep me playing, but Far Harbor looks like it might be the one to pull me back in.
Taking players to the foggy, post-apocalyptic version of Maine’s Bar Harbor, Far Harbor will wrap the player up in a mystery concerning a missing woman, some synths, and the very culty Children of Atom. Bethesda has said that this will be the biggest piece of DLC they’ve ever released, which means an enormous new map complete with new settlements, new creatures, and new gear.
“In Far Harbor, a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost?”
