Hiromu Arakawa’s popular hit series, Fullmetal Alchemist, will be receiving a live-action movie adaptation. The story broke when Livedoor News stated that the movie is due out in the summer of 2017 and has cast pop idol and Hey!Say!JUMP! member Yamada Ryosuke as Edward Elric. Ryosuke has some acting experience as he has previously starred in the live-action adaptation of Assassination Classroom, playing Nagisa Shiota.
No further details have been given about Fullmetal Alchemist‘s plot or additional cast members at this time.
