    Preregistration for Nintendo’s Miitomo is Now Available

    Nintendo’s first foray into smartphone apps has opened for preregistration.

    The app, called Miitomo, is described on the preregistration announcement page as “a free-to-start social experience that lets you spark conversations with your friends in a whole new way and uses Nintendo’s Mii characters.” In addition, creation of the new Nintendo Account system is available, and offers “My Nintendo Platinum Points” for preregistering as part of the new rewards program.     You can expect Miitomo to officially launch sometime in March 2016.
