Last night marked the second annual Game Awards show, produced and hosted by well-known gaming personality Geoff Keighley. The show is meant to be a celebration of video games, honoring this past year’s accomplishments in many different ways, be it the best of a genre, best developer, or best performance from an actor in a game. However, the show also brings about numerous world premieres for new games, so here’s a list of everything that was announced during The Game Awards 2015.
- Before the show officially started, a few world premieres were shown, including a new DLC for Goat Simulator called “New Super Secret DLC”
- Also premiered was Dim Bulb Games’ first project, Where The Water Tastes Like Wine
- Kung Fury: Street Rage has been updated to include new content and characters, free update called “The Arcade Strikes Back”

- A gameplay trailer for Farcry Primal was premiered
- I never thought I’d see the day: Psychonauts 2 was announced and is being crowdfunded on fig

- Rock Band VR was announced in collaboration with Oculus
- Shadow Complex Remastered was revealed and is coming to Xbox One and PS4, available right now for PC and free for the holidays
- Rocket League is making its way to Xbox One in February 2016, complete with exclusive Gears of War and Halo themed battle-cars

In addition to all of the announcements and awards (of which, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt hit big with 3 awards, including Game of the Year), there were several big moments of interest, such as Westwood Studios receiving the Industry Icon Award, a heartfelt speech given by Greg Miller (thanks IGN), a performance of “Quiet’s Theme” from Stefanie Joosten (following some major Konami hate), and a moving tribute to the late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata.
