A new trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End debuted tonight at the Game Awards, showcasing a brand new character in the action-adventure series. At this point, we don’t know much about her, other than the fact that Drake has “something she wants”, and she’s willing to beat him to a pulp to get it. If nothing else, this trailer will reassure audiences that Naughty Dog isn’t slacking off in the writing department:
The trailer depicts Drake getting stopped cold in his tracks and knocked about by this lady before getting ready to dish some out himself. Unfortunately, it fades to black right as it seems that we are about to see some real-time hand to hand combat. I really would have liked to see what a good old Uncharted fist fight looks like on PS4. That being said, the build up to that one on one was really cool and I can’t wait to play that scene come March.
PSX 2015 starts this Saturday, and you can be sure that Naughty Dog will be there in some capacity with something to say. For more on the upcoming conference, see our latest roundup here. Also, don’t forget to check out the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta, which launched today. Unfortunately, you’ll have to have purchased Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for access. Fortunately, that title was a fantastic rendition of three must-play games.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is currently set to release on March 18, 2016.
