The 2012 New York Comic Con is already setting the stage to what is perhaps going to be their biggest convention to date and to top it off they’ve already announced two of their spotlight guests that will be at the show; Geoff Johns and Jim Lee from DC Comics.
You may know Geoff Johns as the writer of many titles DC Comic’s such as “The Flash”, “Superman”, “Batman” and “Green Lantern”. Not to mention that he also had a run over at DC Comic’s rival, Marvel Comic’s where he worked on titles such as “The Avengers” and “Ultimate X-Men.
Least not forget about Jim Lee, an immeasurably talented artist who’s worked on so many comics we’d be here all day just talking about them, but if you want an idea here you go; “Batman / Superman”, “X-Men Forever”, “Gen13”, “Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z 2008 edition” and even some work on the Robotech comics. Currently Jim Lee serves as a Co-publisher of DC Comics.
This marks the first time that either of these two will have appeared at the New York Comic-Con.
The New York Comic Con takes place October 11 – 14, 2012, tickets will be on sale mid spring 2012 and are expected to go fast!
