Bethesda has confirmed that all of the invites for the DOOM multiplayer closed alpha have gone out and that the first alpha will start on Friday, October 23 at 12:01AM EST and will run until Sunday, October 25, 11:59PM EST.
As such the company has recently released some footage on what we can expect from the closed alpha. Per Executive Producer Marty Stratton, this alpha is to gauge how the gameplay has shaped up so far and has gone on record to state that this is a alpha in it’s truest form.
Didn’t make it into the alpha? Well not to worry as there will be more as the game head along it’s development and if you pre-purchased Wolfenstien: The New World order or picked up the title before the end of May 2015, then you’ll see have a chance on getting in on the DOOM beta when it releases later in 2016.
Eager to see players this weekend! Didn’t get a closed Alpha invite? We’ll have more tests on the road to launch. https://t.co/hIHgmEbqpB
