In a move surprising no one, Final Fantasy V is reportedly coming to PC via Steam.
Square Enix, known for their continuous porting of older titles and long-time ignorance of what fans actually want, has put the classic RPG up on Steam’s storefront for release on September 24, 2015. If you pre-purchase at any point before then, you’ll save 10% off the $15.99 asking price.
The game port is reportedly the iOS/Android port (which was a touched-up port of the GBA version) optimized for play on PC. Therefore, it will have all of the same additional content, such as the extra Sealed Temple dungeon. Plus, achievements and Steam trading cards (whatever the hell those are good for).
