Marvel Mighty Heroes has finally launched! Available on iOS and Android, it features real time co-op. It looks like a more cartoon-ish version of Marvel Future Fight (which is not available in the US yet, nor does it feature co-op) and runs on an energy system that recharges over time (a feature that’s pretty common for mobile games).
Gameplay is quite simple, with tapping on the screen to move or attack an enemy, and swiping in the direction you want to dodge. Players will be able to recruit a hero for free every 24 hours and either earn cash in-game or pay in real money for faster unlocks.
Marvel Mighty Heroes launches with its first event, Infinity: Mission of Mercy, the first part of a 6 part event. The players that reach the highers ranks of the highest tier (Vibranium) will unlock characters like Ex Nihilo, Hawkeye, and Iron Man in his Model 42 (Marvel Now!) suit. Players were also given the opportunity to vote on a character to be given for free at launch, and while it was a close battle, the Hulk managed to beat out Rocket Raccoon.
Marvel Mighty Heroes can now be downloaded on the Apple App Store for iOS and the Google Play store for Android.
