Sony’s first PlayStation-centric convention and conference, The PlayStation Experience, emanating from Las Vegas this December, will not only host fans of the brand as they get to try out both upcoming and recently released games, but will bring over 30 game companies to host 20 panels throughout the weekend. The PlayStation Blog outlines these panels in detail.
Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, voices and animation sources for The Last of Us‘ Joel and Ellie, respectfully, will be part of a panel on how voice-over and performance capture are integrated into games. Naughty Dog will host two panels, one featuring a video that looks back on the studio’s 30 years of existence, the other following the process of character creation (including Nathan Drake’s transition to PS4,) and Sony executives Shuhei Yoshida and others will host a “Story Time” panel, stylized in the format of an AMA.
Other panels include a Far Cry 4 creation panel, a God of War and LittleBigPlanet retrospective, as well as a Telltale Games panel chronicling their game creation process. The PlayStation Experience is for players and guests 18 and older for the weekend of December 6th.
