While Indiana Jones and the Great Circle debuted last December on Xbox and PC, it will soon come to PlayStation 5. The whip-cracking adventure game will arrive on the console on April 17th. Those who preorder the premium edition will get access to the game two days early on the 15th.
To announce the PS5 release date, Bethesda shared a fun promotional trailer. In the trailer, Nolan North welcomes Troy Baker to the adventurer’s club. For those who don’t know, Nolan North voices Nathan Drake, the hero of the Uncharted games. Troy Baker actually voiced Drake’s brother in the fourth game, but has his own starring role in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle as Jones himself.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has three options for players who wish to preorder the game.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Standard Edition
First, there’s the standard edition, which just comes with the game itself. That said, preordering the game gets you access to The Last Crusade Pack. This comes with a traveling suit outfit and lion tamer whip for Indiana Jones. But of these are, of course, from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
You can preorder the standard edition for $69.99.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Premium Edition
For those who’d like to wrangle some more digital goodies, there’s the Indiana Jones premium edition. This comes with the previous preorder bonuses. And it comes with a digital artbook and an outfit from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. It also grants access to the game 2 days early (April 15th) and access to The Order of Giants Story DLC (upon release).
You can preorder the premium edition for $99.99.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Collector’s Bundle
Last but certainly not least, there’s the Indiana Jones collector’s bundle for those who really want fortune and glory. This comes everything from the premium edition. But it also includes physical goodies that certainly belong in a museum of your own making. These consist of a globe with hidden store, an Allmaker relic replica, a steelbook case, and a journal to keep track of your adventures.
You can preorder this collector’s bundle for $189.99 here.
With the exception of the collector’s bundle, you can preorder the game from all major retailers. Surprisingly, none of them are offering any exclusive bonuses. Typically a retailer will provide something like a hat, poster, or extra case for those who preorder a game. This may change, or may be because Indiana Jones and the Great Circle did already come out on Xbox and PC.
Either way, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is worth playing, especially if you’re a fan of the films who has yet to play it. In our review, we said that “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle captures everything that Indiana Jones should be, while also doing things to set itself apart from similar games.” We also praised it for “a sense of discovery and reward that few games can match.”
However you decide to get the game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will arrive on April 17th for PlayStation 5.
