My excitement for Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition truly can’t be contained. It was actually the first game in Monolith Soft’s entire lineup that I played, and it set the path for me to become a diehard Xenoblade Chronicles fan, especially since the whole series will soon be on Nintendo Switch. I very much enjoyed the 2015 Wii U entry, but the Switch upgrade will allow even more people to try it out and see the dev team’s bold sci-fi take on the open-world genre. Again, I’m very excited.
Earlier today, I noted how Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition had gotten great reviews, and that’s still true, but it’s not the only thing it got today. Nintendo also dropped the launch trailer for the RPG, and it perfectly highlights not only the world of Mira but also he events that led Earth’s inhabitants to it and the battles to come in defending their new home:
