One of the things that many people are focusing on right now with the Nintendo Switch 2 is how much it’ll sell in both its first year and in its lifetime. Will it sell as much as the OG Switch? Will Nintendo be able to meet initial demand? How will The Big N do with its software lineup to build up hype further? That kind of thing. While we won’t know these answers for some time, we can show you how much the reveal trailer has done and how that might affect things going forward.
As noted by Insider Stealth on Twitter, the Nintendo of Japan post about the Nintendo Switch 2 has crossed 46 million views, which is impressive in many ways.

One of the biggest reasons that’s impressive is that this is about 7 million more than the Nintendo America account, which is at just under 39 million.

Then, when you add in the YouTube video that was also posted, which has over 16.5 million views so far, you get over 100 million views combined. While it’s obvious that many people watched the trailer multiple times over, this is still an impressive milestone and shows just how much people wanted to see the Switch 2. When the April Nintendo Direct drops, it’ll be interesting to see how many people view the Direct to see the software lineup.
