CES 2025: First Look at My Arcade’s Revenge of Shinobi Joystick Player

By Keith Mitchell and Angelique MitchellJanuary 11, 2025
CES 2025 My Arcade The Revenge of Shinobi Joystick Player-01

While still at the My Arcade booth during CES 2025, we noticed one of the Revenge of Shinobi Joystick Player. This was part of My Arcade’s secret announcements for CES 2025 and was shown alongside the SEGA Sonic the Hedgehog Mighty Player and Joystick Player.

Just like the Sonic the Hedgehog variant, we weren’t able to play them as they weren’t operational, but we did get a chance to examine them and see which games would be included with the Revenge of Shinobi Joystick Player.

The included games are:

  • Shinobi
  • Revenge of Shinobi
  • Shinobi III
  • Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi

No pricing information was available, but given similar devices already on sale, these could be priced at $49.99.

Additionally, the Streets of Rage and Golden Axe Micro Player Pros were also on display, though not playable. The Streets of Rage Micro Player Pro includes Streets of Rage 1, 2, and 3, while the Golden Axe Micro Player includes Golden Axe 1, 2, and 3.

No pricing was available for the Revenge of Shinobi Joystick Player, but similar devices already on sale suggest a potential price of $49.99. Likewise, there was no pricing available for either of the Micro Player Pros (Streets of Rage and Golden Axe), but based on comparable devices, these are expected to retail for $39.99.
