If you’ve been itching for more Monster Hunter Wilds, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto has some exciting news to kick off 2025. Get ready to hunt again, as the second Open Beta Test for Monster Hunter Wilds is just around the corner! Following up on the success of the first test, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto has confirmed the dates and times for this next opportunity to dive back into the game.
The second Open Beta Test will be available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) and will take place on two separate dates:
- February 6-9 from 7:00 PM to 6:59 AM PT (10:00 PM to 1:59 AM EST).
- February 13-16 from 7:00 PM to 6:59 AM PT (10:00 PM to 1:59 AM EST).
This test will give players another chance to explore Monster Hunter Wilds, featuring an additional monster to hunt. While the team has been listening to feedback from the first beta and working on improvements, keep in mind that some of the planned changes—such as performance tweaks, weapon adjustments, and other quality-of-life improvements—won’t be included just yet.
Mark your calendars, sharpen your weapons, and get ready for another exciting round of hunts in Monster Hunter Wilds! Stay tuned for further updates as we approach the game’s full release.
Monster Hunter Wilds is one of my anticipated games to play in 2025, and recently I added the game to The Outerhaven’s Action RPGs to look forward to in 2025 list. Give that a ready if you missed it.
Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on February 28, 2025, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
