Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed the release date for the port of The Last of Us 2 PC Remastered. April 3, 2025, is when we’ll finally be able to play this title. While the game has been rumored for some time, it’s nice to finally get confirmation of it. Nixxes and Iron Galaxy taking care of the development duties, so fingers crossed that this PC port fairs better than The Last of Us Part 1 Remastered, which was handled by Naughty Dog.
It’s been about five years since the original game release, and if you missed it the first time around, or perhaps you moved on to PC gaming, you’ll be able to play it with lots of new improvements, including the roguelike survival mode No Return.
We don’t know what sort of enhancements and optimizations the PC port will feature. We’ll get those closer to the release of the game.
And yes, as this is a PlayStation title, you will also need to have a PlayStation Network account. There’s no getting around that, it’s here to stay.
