How to Protect Yourself from Artifact Radiation in STALKER 2

How to Protect Yourself from Artifact Radiation in STALKER 2

While Artifacts in Stalker 2 provide several benefits, like boosting blood resistance and more, they can also harm players if used improperly, especially when it comes to Artifact radiation. Many players have struggled with this aspect, finding it difficult to avoid radiation damage. In this guide, we’ll explain the best ways to protect yourself from Artifact Radiation and keep your health in check.

Ways to Avoid Artifact Radiation

How to Protect Yourself from Artifact Radiation in STALKER 2

1. Consume Anti-Radiation Drugs and Vodka for Protection

The simplest way to avoid Artifact radiation is to consume items like vodka or anti-radiation drugs. Although it might sound odd, drinking vodka can help you ignore the effects of radiation. Anti-radiation drugs work similarly, offering protection when you’re exposed. However, both of these options take up valuable inventory space, and they’re not always easy to find. But if you have them, they’re a quick way to deal with radiation.

2. Choose the Right Equipment

Another way to protect yourself is by wearing the right gear. All armor in Stalker 2 offers some level of protection from radiation, but some sets are better than others. By equipping armor specifically designed to resist radiation, you can effectively neutralize the harmful effects of the Artifact radiation. You can also upgrade your armor for even better protection. This method is an easy and reliable way to stay safe while exploring.

3. Equip Anti-Radiation Artifacts to Stay Safe

Lastly, players can use anti-radiation artifacts to protect themselves from radiation exposure. These artifacts are rare and harder to find, but they offer excellent protection. Keep in mind that not all artifacts provide the same level of protection. Some may offer strong defense, while others may be weak and even cause harm. To check, open your inventory and look at the artifact’s description for the “Radio Protection” stat.

By following these methods—drinking vodka, using anti-radiation drugs, equipping protective gear, or using anti-radiation artifacts—you’ll be able to protect yourself from the dangers of Artifact Radiation in Stalker 2.
