We’re 20 days away from the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and the Steam page for the game has just been updated with the PC system requirements. However, while the requirements have been revealed, they only include the minimum and recommended settings, both of which seem to target around 1080p based on the listed hardware. Meanwhile, many of us are still waiting to find out what is needed to run the game at higher resolutions, such as 1440p and 4K.
What’s interesting and noteworthy is that the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti is still being recommended, even after Nvidia has tried to replace that card. It was one of Nvidia’s best GPUs, and it’s nice to see it still recognized, especially for those of us who owned that card, only for it to fail after the warranty expired.
