Here we go, true believers! Yet another PlayStation title, this time, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, is heading to the PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) on January 30, 2025. This news was revealed during Marvel’s panel that took place during New York Comic-Con 2024.
Nixxes, the developer known for its PC technical prowess, is once again handling the PC port, and there will be two versions of the game: Standard, and a Digital Deluxe Edition that will include 10 exclusive suits for Peter and Miles. Both versions will include access to all of the previously released content on the PlayStation 5, including the New Game+ mode
Yes, you will need to sign up for a PlayStation Network account, there’s no getting around that anymore.
So far, there hasn’t been any mention of any PC-exclusive enhancements, however, we should expect to see ultrawide monitor support, Nvidia DLSS and DLAA support, as well as AMD FSR and Intel XeSS upscaling support, and uncapped frame rates, similar to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Don’t forget that Steam Deck support is likely a given as well.
You can also wishlist Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on Steam, and the Epic Games Store, so get to it!
I wonder if PlayStation will re-release the Spider-Man 2 DualSense controllers as well. It can’t hurt to hope that it does, especially for those who missed out on it the first time around.
