Yen Press is getting ready to paint the town green this Halloween with the release of a brand-new yuri romance manga titled The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy At All.
Sumiko Arai’s manga depicts love over a shared interest in music. Songs like “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana and “Creep” by Radiohead help to immerse readers and music lovers in this sweet story.
Yen Press’ official synopsis of the manga is as follows:
Fashionable and upbeat high schooler Aya falls head over heels for an employee at a local CD shop. He’s got an air of mystery about him, he’s always well-dressed, and he has impeccable taste in music. Little does she know, this supposedly male employee is actually her female classmate Mitsuki! For her part, Mitsuki generally keeps to herself, but since her seat is right next to Aya’s, she can’t help but be extremely aware of the other girl’s crush. Revealing the truth is out of the question—but perhaps getting closer to Aya wouldn’t be so bad…
You can grab The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn’t a Guy At All for yourself when it launches on October 22!
