After all the rumors, begging, and praying, Rockstar Games is finally going to make a lot of people very happy, as it has announced that Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare will be released for the PC as of October 29, 2024.
Yes, we’re getting the first game after the second game, on the PC and it only took 14 years to make it happen. But hey, it’s happening and that’s all that should matter.
The PC version of Red Dead Redemption And Undead Nightmare will include ultrawide (21:9 / 32:9) monitor and 4K resolution support, HDR 10 support, and will also support keyboard and mouse support so those who aren’t fans of playing with controllers can also enjoy the game.
It doesn’t stop there as Rockstar Games has baked in some yummy Nvidia and AMD tech by adding DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more.
Here are the Red Dead Redemption PC specs requirements as listed on Steam. Which don’t look very taxing at all, and pretty much any PC built within the last 7-8 years should be able to run the game without any issues. That is unless the port isn’t optimized very well.
