    Shin Megami Tensei V Series Crosses 1.6 Million Sales

    ATLUS has announced with the recent release of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, the series has now crossed over 1.6 million units in sales.

    The original game was released exclusively for Nintendo Switch on November 11, 2021.  Five months later, it had crossed over a million units in sales after hitting 800k sales in December 2021.

    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance was released on June 14, 2024, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4,  Steam, Xbox Series X｜S, Xbox One, and Windows. Including physical copies and digital sales, ATLUS shared that Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance sold over 500,000 copies in three days after launch. Atlus attributes the sales to its multi-platform release and the positive critical reception.
