Street Fighter’s official Twitter account has given us Street Fighter 6 Gouki / Akuma’s Theme weeks before his arrival. This one is quite interesting compared to his original themes. This goes well with the mysterious backdrop of his, Enma’s Hollow. The instrumentals are in as the flute is leading.
This is the power he hungers for! 😈

Compared to his others, such as Street Fighter III: Third Strike’s jungle “Killing Moon” or even the updated version of his original theme for Capcom vs SNK 2, it’s hard to place where this theme lies in the spectrum of character tracks. Street Fighter 6 is possibly the 3rd game, in the series, to do away with variations to the original Street FIghter II scores that Yoko Shimomura created(Guile’s for one). At times, this was divisive, but a warm change to the system. We’ll get to hear more of this come May 22nd.
Street Fighter VI is available on PlayStation 4 | 5, X-Box Series X | S, and Steam.
