It’s a big day for Nintendo news. If you didn’t see our post earlier, the Nintendo Switch successor has been confirmed and will be fully announced “within the next fiscal year.” However, that was only the start to the information dropped by The Big N during its latest financial briefing. Among the numbers and graphs, it was revealed that the two big releases for 2024 so far, Princess Peach Showtime and the remake of Mario vs Donkey Kong have both crossed the million-seller mark.
This information was posted on Twitter via insider stealth, so you don’t have to search through the above document for the info:
Princess Peach Showtime and Mario vs. Donkey Kong Remake are both million sellers!

These are important figures for a basic reason: while they were “new releases” for the Switch, one was a remake, and the other was for a character who has only had one other solo title in her history. So for gamers to come out and get them, even in “less than other games on the Switch” numbers are still meaningful. Plus, it could mean that Peach gets more games in the future because they know her titles will sell.
