Lidia Sobieska returns
Lidia returns to the King of The Iron Fist Tournament. Sure – Bandai Namco denied her future arrival in Tekken 8 before, but she’s making her 2nd appearance in the series since the predecessor. Lidia was able to get a teaser at the end. The Prime Minister of Poland is taking a break from office to represent her country yet again – breaking several blocks of ice in the process. With Lidia making a comeback, it only furthers the speculation of the February Tekken 8 leaks being pretty accurate.
Seaside Resort, Photo Mode
Coming in Summer 2024 is the Seaside Resort stage. Not much has been seen with this yet. It does seem different from other beach stages and could possibly be something similar to Tekken Ball‘s stage. Photo Mode will also be a new feature.
A new chapter in the Tekken 8 Story
Eddy Gordo’s inclusion and other characters will usher in a new part of the story. The ending of the original story solidified what will become of battle of good… err Mishimas vs Mishimas. Jin and Eddy are seen together, forming some sort of pact. Coming in Autumn.
Online Practice Mode and Ghost vs Ghost Mode
The machines are taking over and Ghosts will be where it’s at. Not much has been said about the Ghost vs. Ghost mode as of yet. Online Practice will also be coming.
Balance Adjustments
Patch notes will be released for the next balance adjustments. The newest patch for update 1.04 released on Tuesday.
